Optional. For YA 2026, IRAS computes the CIT rebate on tax payable after applicable tax set-offs.
For YA 2026, the enhanced cash grant is S$2,000 and total CIT rebate + cash grant benefit is capped at S$40,000.
Disclaimer: Estimate only; actual corporate tax can differ due to eligibility conditions, concessionary income, tax adjustments, credits, incentives and IRAS assessments.
What Is a Corporate Tax Calculator Singapore?
A Corporate Tax Calculator Singapore estimates tax on a company’s normal chargeable income.
It applies the 17% corporate income tax rate, the selected exemption scheme and any tax set-offs entered. For YA 2026, it can also estimate the enhanced Corporate Income Tax rebate.
The result is an estimate. Actual tax may differ after tax adjustments, credits, incentives and the official assessment.
You can find more locally focused finance tools on the Calculator Singapores homepage.

3. Select the Year of Assessment
Select YA 2026 to apply the enhanced YA 2026 CIT rebate.

Enter applicable tax set-offs or credits before the CIT rebate.
Leave this field at zero when no set-off applies. Do not enter a credit that has already been deducted from the chargeable income.

Singapore Corporate Income Tax Rate
Singapore’s standard corporate income tax rate is 17% of chargeable income.
The rate applies to local and foreign companies. However, the effective rate may be lower after PTE, SUTE or an applicable rebate.
The calculator applies 17% only to normal chargeable income. It does not calculate income taxed at concessionary rates or under special incentives.
Partial Tax Exemption
For YA 2020 onwards, PTE provides:
- 75% exemption on the first S$10,000 of normal chargeable income
- 50% exemption on the next S$190,000
The maximum exempt amount is S$102,500 on the first S$200,000.
Normal chargeable income left after this exemption is taxed at 17%.
Start-up Tax Exemption
SUTE applies only to qualifying companies during their first three consecutive Years of Assessment.
For YA 2020 onwards, it provides:
- 75% exemption on the first S$100,000
- 50% exemption on the next S$100,000
The maximum exempt amount is S$125,000 on the first S$200,000.
A new company does not qualify automatically. Its incorporation, tax residence, shareholders and main business activity must meet the applicable conditions.
Investment holding companies and companies undertaking property development for sale, investment or both do not qualify for SUTE. They may still qualify for PTE.
Corporate Tax Formula
The calculator first finds the exempt amount under the selected scheme.
Income taxed at 17% = Normal chargeable income − Exempt amount
It then calculates gross tax:
Gross corporate tax = Income taxed at 17% × 17%
Entered set-offs are deducted next:
Tax before CIT rebate = Gross corporate tax − Tax set-offs
For YA 2026:
Estimated net tax = Tax before rebate − Applicable CIT rebate
The effective rate is:
Effective tax rate = Estimated net tax ÷ Normal chargeable income × 100
The cash grant is displayed separately. It is not directly deducted from the Estimated Net Corporate Tax figure.
Corporate Tax Calculation Example
Assume the company enters:
- Normal chargeable income: S$100,000
- Exemption scheme: PTE
- Year: YA 2026
- Tax set-offs: S$0
- Cash grant: No/Not sure
PTE exemption
75% of the first S$10,000:
S$10,000 × 75% = S$7,500
50% of the next S$90,000:
S$90,000 × 50% = S$45,000
Total exempt amount:
S$7,500 + S$45,000 = S$52,500
Income taxed at 17%
S$100,000 − S$52,500 = S$47,500
Gross tax
S$47,500 × 17% = S$8,075
YA 2026 rebate
With no set-offs, tax before rebate is S$8,075.
S$8,075 × 50% = S$4,037.50
Estimated net tax
S$8,075 − S$4,037.50 = S$4,037.50
The estimated effective tax rate is approximately 4.04%.
YA 2026 CIT Rebate and Cash Grant
The enhanced YA 2026 CIT rebate is 50% of corporate tax payable.
The rebate is calculated after applicable tax set-offs. The combined maximum benefit from the rebate and cash grant is S$40,000.
The enhanced cash grant is S$2,000 for an eligible active company that meets the local employee condition. Generally, the company must have made CPF contributions for at least one Singapore citizen or permanent resident employee in 2025. A shareholder who is also a company director does not count for this condition.
If the company qualifies for the S$2,000 cash grant, the maximum separate CIT rebate is S$38,000 so that the combined benefit does not exceed S$40,000. If the calculated rebate is S$2,000 or less, no separate CIT rebate is given because the company receives the S$2,000 cash grant instead. The calculator shows this amount separately and adjusts the rebate calculation when eligibility is selected.
Current corporate tax rates, exemptions and YA 2026 conditions are published by IRAS.
Selecting Yes does not confirm cash-grant eligibility. The official decision is made during assessment.
Corporate Tax and Other Business Calculations
Corporate income tax is based on chargeable income. GST and service charge relate to customer transactions and bills.
The Singapore Service Charge And GST Calculator estimates service charge and GST on a bill. Its result is not the same as a company’s chargeable income.
Business financing must also be calculated separately. The Singapore Corporate Business Loan Calculator estimates loan payments, while this page estimates corporate tax.
Loan proceeds are not normal chargeable income merely because the company receives cash. Financing expenses may also require tax adjustments before they are deductible.
An asset’s value is different from taxable income. The Gold Price Calculator Singapore estimates gold value but cannot decide whether a gain, loss or expense is taxable.
The Faraid Calculator Singapore estimates the estate remaining after the entered expenses, debts and religious obligations. It does not calculate corporate tax or determine beneficiaries’ inheritance shares.
What the Calculator Cannot Determine
The calculator cannot determine:
- Actual chargeable income
- Whether every expense is deductible
- SUTE or cash-grant eligibility
- Tax residency
- Capital allowance claims
- Carried-forward losses
- Group relief
- Foreign tax credits
- Concessionary rates
- Special incentives
- Filing obligations
- Final tax assessed
It also does not calculate GST, withholding tax or personal income tax.
Common Mistakes
Entering Accounting Profit

Using YA 2026 for Another Year
Select Other YA when the enhanced YA 2026 rebate does not apply.
Counting a Set-off Twice
Do not enter a set-off that has already reduced the chargeable income or tax figure.

Selecting Yes only changes the estimate. It does not confirm eligibility or payment.
